Parama Sinha Palit

Bio:

Dr Parama Sinha Palit is affiliated with the Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore as an Adjunct Senior Fellow in the South Asia Programme. She is also affiliated with the Swedish South Asian Studies Network (SASNET), apart from being a Senior Fellow with Praman — a policy research and management network in India. Her first book Analysing China’s Soft Power Strategy and Comparative Indian Initiatives published in early 2017, discusses historical underpinnings and contemporary application of Chinese soft power in various parts of the world, along with similar Indian efforts. Her latest book India and China: National image-building in Southeast Asia (2018) explores comparative dimensions of Chinese and Indian soft power policies in greater depth.
